About Kabira
Since 2006, Kabira has been working to build an inclusive green economy. She has focused specifically on the intersection between creating good green jobs and opportunities for people who face systemic barriers to employment, particularly for those coming home from incarceration.
Kabira recently stepped down as the CEO of Retrievr, a Closed Loop Partners company focused on electronics and textile recycling. She took on this role after her years as Founder and CEO of Isidore Electronics Recycling (2011-2016) and then Homeboy Recycling (2016-2020).
